Former Rising Star winner Maya Le Tissier makes the shortlist for Betway CI Sports Personality of the Year for the first time in 2019.

The 17-year-old footballer has established herself in Brighton & Hove Albion's FA WSL squad over the last 12 months, and will become the island's first women's professional when she turns 18.

Last year she captained England at the European Women's U17 Championships in Bulgaria, where her young Lionesses came agonisingly close to reaching the knockout stages.
