Jersey FA appoints first referee development officer

The Jersey Football Association has appointed its first referee development officer.

Paul Kemp, who has been a qualified referee for 16 years, will be tasked with focusing on the recruitment and retention of officials in the island.

Meanwhile, the JFA is also running a free course next month for people looking to get into refereeing.

It will be overseen by an FA tutor and takes place at Springfield on 7-9 February.
