Urgent appeal for missing 29-year-old in Guernsey

An urgent appeal has been issued for information on a missing 29-year-old man in Guernsey.

Matthew Bourgaize was last seen on the afternoon of Saturday 11 January leaving the foyer of the Oberlands Centre at 2:50pm.

He is known to have been receiving mental health treatment at the facility and is thought to have been responding well. Guernsey Police says it had been agreed that Mr Bourgaize could meet friends and family in the foyer, but he went on to leave the building.

The force are calling on anyone who knows of his whereabouts to contact them.

Law Enforcement Officers have been searching a number of locations as well as analyzing CCTV footage and speaking to his friends.

Police say his family are extremely worried about him.
