Jersey’s new Deputy Bailiff is sworn in
Robert MacRae has been sworn in as Jersey’s Deputy Bailiff.
It was announced Mr MacRae would take up the position in June 2019.
Mr Macrae was educated in Jersey at La Moye School, Victoria College prep and Victoria College.
He returned to Jersey in 2001 and passed the Jersey Bar exams the following year before becoming a partner at Carey Olsen law firm, specialising in trust litigation.
Mr MacRae was appointed a Crown Advocate in 2008 and Attorney General in May 2015.
