Jersey police dog retires from force

A much-loved police dog is retiring from his role with Jersey Police.

PD Turbo has been on the front lines with Jersey Police for more than six years and became a popular part of the force's staff.

However, on Thursday 2 January, Turbo completed his final shift.

Turbo is retiring due to his age having recently turned eight-years-old.

His handler PC David Bisson says while Turbo has proved a handful at times, he is going to miss having his faithful canine companion by his side.
