Hundreds of people take a Christmas Day dip for charity
Hundreds of people took a dip at the many organised Christmas Day sea swims across the islands.
The bright sunny weather, and calm waters across the islands encouraged many people to go for a swim. The sea temperature was 10.4°C.
At Ouaisne in St Brelade around 400 people went for a swim in aid of Jersey Hospice Care, whilst a large group of swimmers also gathered at the Watersplash at St Ouen's Bay to enjoy the traditional festive swim for the charity Healing Waves.
There were also swims at Harve Des Pas and Greve de Lecq.
In Guernsey people gathered at the La Vallettte Bathing Pools to take part in the Christmas Day swim.
