Plans to better connect St Helier's waterfront with town centre backed
Plans to regenerate the south-west of St Helier have been backed by the Environment Minister.
Deputy John Young has been working on a masterplan to better connect the main town with the waterfront. This includes developing ten zones within the area.
Following consultation, Deputy Young has now adopted the new planning guidance, saying he wants a 'people's first, building's second' approach going forward.
This replaces the 2008 Esplanade Quarter Masterplan.
