Guernsey Raiders inflict first defeat on league leaders to cut gap to top

Guernsey Raiders inflicted a first defeat of the season on Wimbledon to move within touching distance of the league leaders.

Jordan Reynolds' side ran out 22-16 winners in south London, claiming a bonus point thanks to tries from Cameron Craine, Jake O'Connor, Anthony Armstrong, and Nick Merrien.

The result means Raiders stay second in London & South East Premier, level on points with Rochford Hundred - the only team to beat them - in third, but now just two points off the top.

Wimbledon and Rochford will both visit Footes Lane in the second-half of the season, where Guernsey have a perfect record so far.
