Calls to progress plans for a public memorial for survivors of abuse
A review into care in Jersey says the island needs to progress plans for a public memorial for survivors of abuse.
Creating a memorial was recommended by the Independent Jersey Care Inquiry as a way of the island acknowledging what happened.
The Care of Children in Jersey Review Panel is the second in a series of interim reports that examine the progress made, in implementing the recommendations from the Independent Jersey Care Inquiry
It says while there has been progress in some areas, there is still a lot to do.
The report will be available on the States Assembly website from 9.30am on Friday 8 November.
