Andium Homes' Vice-Chair resigns days after Chief Operating Officer quits

The Vice Chair of Andium Homes has resigned just days after the Chief Operating Officer of the housing company quit.

Heather Bestwick says she was unable to remain on the board of the state-owned firm after her 'integrity was impugned' by Chief Minister John Le Fondre at a meeting on 22 October 2019.

The COO John Hamon resigned last week after accusing the government of being 'dictatorial', 'losing its way' and saying the leadership is 'non-existent'.

Ms Bestwick said it would be impossible for her to continue to work with the government as their views on the best interests of the company were no longer consistent.
