Record breaking Skipton Swimarathon raises tens of thousands

Over 2,500 swimmers donned their swimming caps to raise over £56,000 for various local charities.

The event also saw 1,250 young people taking part throughout the five days of swimming, more than it has ever had before.

The Cardiac Action Group were this year's main beneficiary, who also provided life saving training to participants and the public.
