'That was close, too close' - Priaulx just misses out on British GT title

Guernsey racing driver Seb Priaulx just missed out on claiming a British GT title in his first season in the championship.

He and Multimatic Motorsports team-mate Scott Maxwell finished as runners-up in the GT4 class in their Ford Mustang after an enthralling final round.

After qualifying fifth for the two-hour race at Donington Park, Priaulx fought through to second in his stint but fell just 1.5 seconds short of the win which would have seen the pair head up the overall standings.

Priaulx and Maxwell end the season with two race wins to their name, having topped the podium in round two at Oulton Park and in round six, the first of two at Donington.
