Up to 1,000 children in Jersey do not have access to hot meals, according to government research.

But one group has been working for two years to try and change that.

This week, Caring Cooks has served up hot meals to around 700 primary school students at lunchtime.

At the moment, they are working with just two schools, but hope it could soon be rolled out to more across the island.
