Homelessness strategy to be created in Jersey
A homelessness strategy is to be created in Jersey and will aim to identify the extent of the issue in the island, according to the Government of Jersey.
Professionals from the public, charitable and private sectors have been brought together to oversee the development of the strategy.
Simon Burgess, a Chartered Surveyor and managing director in finance, will chair the board.
Senator Sam Mézec says the strategy is in line with government policy to reduce income inequality and improve the standard of living.
The review and strategy are expected to be completed by next year.
