The Battle of Flowers 2019 has begun.

The Grand Parade is a chance to show off the floats which people have been designing and building for a year.

The aim is to win the best prize of the day, the Prix D’Honneur.

Last year's winner was The Optimists Club for its In Flanders Fields float, which marked the centenary of the end of the First World War.
