Nurses in Guernsey are "frustrated" another deadline to sort their pay has passed.

A settlement was due by the end of June under the terms an implementation plan set up by the States at the beginning of the year, but so far there has been no movement on pay.

Although the Royal College of Nursing says no formal offer was made, there were suggestions of a 5% pay increase. The union says that 10% would go towards closing the gap between nurses and other public sector workers.

The union says negotiations seem to have ground to a halt.

Members have started a petition which has 3,106 online signatures and 1,900 gathered in person.

The Policy and Resources Committee says it is continuing to work towards an agreement with nursing unions.
