23,000 expected to travel in and out of Jersey Airport for Easter
23,000 people are expected to pass in and out of Jersey Airport this weekend as the 'Easter get-away' begins.
Ports of Jersey are reminding passengers to allow for more time when going to the airport with a higher volume of people expected to pass through.
They also want people to give sufficient time when checking in hold luggage and clearing through security.
Anyone carrying chocolate Easter eggs in their hand luggage will be allowed to do so but are being told they should not contain any liquids.
The airport is expecting Easter Monday to be particularly busy as islanders return to Jersey to go back to work and school the following day.
Anyone travelling this weekend can check their flight status and any other relevant information on Jersey Airport's website.
