Cost of agency staff for Jersey's health sector triples in three years

The amount of money spent on agency staff backing up Jersey's health sector has tripled in three years.

Last year, a total of £9 million was spent on locum staff.

The figure includes agency nurses, consultants, health professionals and social workers, based at the hospital and within the community.
