Channel Island politicians react to Brexit deal defeat

"As much certainty as possible" - that is what Jersey's External Relations Minister says he hopes will come from the Brexit decisions made over the next few days.

He has been speaking after the Prime Minister, Theresa May, had her proposed deal rejected a second time in Parliament.

But here in the Channel Islands, Senator Ian Gorst says it is business as usual for now.
