Competition to create a new flavour of ice cream
Co-operative and Jersey Dairy have launched a competition for islanders to create a new flavour of ice cream.
The companies are coming together for the 100th year celebrations since the Co-op opened their first store in the Channel Islands.
Islanders can submit their ideas as of today.
Jersey Dairy’s tasting kitchen will judge 10 recipes and pick their favourite three flavours.
The three chosen flavours will be voted on by the public who will choose their winning flavour, which will then go into production and on sale in Co-op’s Grand Marché and Locale stores.
Jersey Dairy say they aim to have the new ice cream on sale in June so it is available for the summer.
Islanders can submit their flavours in-store, online or by post until Sunday 24th March.
