Council of Ministers renamed to 'Government of Jersey'
The Council of Ministers has officially rebranded to become the Government of Jersey, or ‘Gouvèrnément d'Jèrri’ in Jèrrias.
The aim is to clarify the difference between the government - who devise policy and make big decisions - and the States assembly, that holds it to account.
In July 2014, the Council of Ministers adopted the ‘Government of Jersey’ identity for use by Ministers in business cards, official correspondence and for use overseas, but continued to use the States of Jersey identity on island.
All design work to make the change is being done in house, at no extra cost.
