Alternative flights to Tenerife to be confirmed tomorrow

The airline Germania was due to operate FlyDirect's routes from this Saturday until the end of April, but this morning it filed for insolvency and will stop flying.

C.I Travel Group has been working throughout the day to find an alternative airline to operate the flights from Jersey to Tenerife.

They expect to confirm details of the new flight arrangements tomorrow, Wednesday 6th February.

The company has remained in contact with all those affected and will provide a further update tomorrow.
