Reds coach Biljon signs three-year contract extension

Harvey Biljon has signed a three-year contract extension with Jersey Reds, under the new title of director of rugby.

It keeps the South African coach, who had two years to run on his previous deal, at St Peter until the end of the 2023/24 season.

In five years with the club, the 41-year-old has taken Jersey from 11th in the Championship to recording back-to-back fifth-placed finishes.

He has also helped move more than 20 players from English rugby's second tier to the Premiership during that time.

This season the Reds, who travel to leaders London Irish this weekend, sit third in the table and have a cup quarter-final to look forward to next month.
