Jersey nurses vote unanimously for industrial action
Nurses in Jersey have voted to apply for industrial action after rejecting a final pay offer from the States earlier this week.
Members will now ask the Royal College of Nursing's South East Board to discuss making a formal application to the RCN Council for the right to start an industrial action consultation.
The Board will meet within five working days to discuss the application.
Mediation will also take place between the unions and the Jersey Advisory and Conciliation Service (JACS)
The RCN says it is "committed to seeing the process through to its conclusion".
