Plans unveiled to turn Guernsey's La Vallette into outdoor leisure hub
Plans have been unveiled to create an outdoor leisure hub at La Vallette in Guernsey.
Development company the Fuller Group has submitted a proposal to the States, as it wants more people to use the seafront area which includes the bathing pools.
Ideas put forward include an outdoor cinema and theatre, an inflatable waterpark, shops, restaurants and housing.
These commercial developments would be used to fund the area's public facilities such as new indoor and outdoor saunas and hot tub areas.
The proposals have been put forward as part of the States Seafront Enhancement programme, where six sites from North Plantation to La Vallette have been earmarked for potential redevelopment.
