Timothy Le Cocq announced as new Jersey Bailiff
The new Bailiff of Jersey has been announced as Timothy Le Cocq.
Mr Le Cocq was called to the English Bar in 1981 and to the Jersey Bar in 1985. He became a Crown Advocate in 1996 and was appointed as Her Majesty’s Solicitor General in April 2008.
More recently the new Bailiff was appointed Attorney General in 2009 and in April 2015 he became the island's Deputy Bailiff.
Mr Le Cocq succeeds the current Bailiff Sir William Bailhache and will take up the role in October 2019.
