The Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust has launched a new project to raise money for a state of the art gorilla house.

The Go Wild Gorillas project will see local and international artists submit colourful designs. The successful artists who are chosen to contribute will then customise a gorilla sculpture to form part of a trail.

The gorillas will be placed across Jersey in summer 2019 to celebrate 60 years of the Trust.

It is hoped people who walk the trail will also reconnect with the island's nature.
