Guthrie to leave Australia's Giants at end of season
Jersey's Serena Guthrie is returning to England to play in the Netball Superleague next year.
The star centre announced she will leave Australian team Giants Netball at the end of the current season, with her next destination yet to be confirmed.
After a stint in New Zealand, she joined the Sydney-based club for the inaugural season of Super Netball in 2017, helping them to reach the Grand Final.
They are in the semi-finals once again this season and face Sunshine Coast Lightning on Sunday for a place in the competition's showpiece.
The former Team Bath player has grown into a superstar of the world game in recent years and shone as England won gold at the 2018 Commonwealth Games in Australia.
She said her move back to England will allow her to plan for her future off the court and comes ahead of Liverpool hosting the Netball World Cup in 2019.
