Reds' Holenstein prepared for 'emotional' Quins clash

Jersey prop Cameron Holenstein is in line to face his former club when the Reds host Harlequins at Stade Santander International on Saturday.

The 23-year-old South African made the switch to St Peter this summer after two injury-troubled seasons with the Premiership giants.

"It's going to be incredibly exciting to go up against some of my old team-mates", Holenstein told ITV News.

"It'll be a little bit emotional, so I just need to keep that in check, but it's going to be a fantastic experience playing with a new group of guys. I just can't wait for the occasion."

Holenstein made his first appearance for Jersey off the bench as they beat French side RC Vannes 27-17 in their opening pre-season encounter.

The club is expecting a big crowd for this weekend's match, which is a reverse of last year when the 2012 Premiership champions triumphed 47-21 at the Stoop.

"We're going in with that mentality where we just want to dominate in all aspects of the game.", Holenstein said.

"We really hold our set piece in high regard. When it comes to scrums, line-outs, mauls, we're really going to take it to these guys and try to capitalise as much as we can".
