Sark Electricity say government's decision to reduce its prices is "wrong"
Sark Electricity say that the government's decision to "force" it to reduce its electric prices by 14 pence is wrong.
The company say that it accepts the reduction in price but it will lead to "negative outcomes for Sark."
It comes after a the Electricity Price Commissioner issued a Price Control Order upon the company.
The company says they have had to operate on the island for the last 50 years without any government support.
Mr Brown said the company has been losing money all year and questions whether Sark Electricity should continue operating.
They are warning they may need to stop services due to the price drop.
He said the company intends to appeal the decision.
The Price Control Commissioner had previously said that the current prices the company charges are not fair and reasonable.
Sark has some of the highest electricity prices in the world.
