Guernsey police confirm no poison involved in medical incident
Guernsey police has confirmed no poison was involved in a medical incident at Le Truchot this evening.
Initial information given to officers was that a suspected poison may have been used.
Duty Inspector Karl Zierlinger says people were kept in their work offices mainly as a precaution because of that.
Subsequent investigation by the emergency services established that poison wasn't involved and the individual concerned had suffered no harm.
Police are not treating the incident as serious, and say they would like to reassure the public that no one has been put at risk.
