Guernsey faces 'long-term challenges' due to ageing demographic
Guernsey's Chief Minister has said the government needs to make some difficult policy decisions in the future due to the island's ageing demographic.
Deputy Gavin Pier was speaking in response to the publication of the island's first ever long-term population forecast.
One of the report findings predicts a net immigration of between 200 and 300 people will be needed every year to maintain a workforce.
