Visit Jersey is hoping to showcase the island through a revival of the Bergerac soundtrack.

The iconic crime drama was based in Jersey in the 1980's and 1990's and attracted around 13 million viewers a week.

The tourism company thinks the "Bergerac Effect" did well in displaying the island sites to the world around 40 years ago.

Visit Jersey now believes the new version of the soundtrack will help to celebrate current tourism figures, with the island experiencing its busiest summer in a decade last year.

The music video to "Bergerac Remastered" shows Jersey on a sunny day.

Musician Youngr is seen playing instruments from various locations, including the top of Gorey Castle. A herd of Jersey cows also makes an appearance.

The sound of the track aims to reflect the laid-back feeling of Jersey in the summer months.
