Vale Rec become first side to retain Guernsey FA Cup

Glenn Le Tissier's late winner saw Vale Rec beat Rovers 2-1 at the Track to win the Guernsey FA Cup for the second year in a row.

After sealing a maiden FA Cup triumph last year, they became the first club to retain the title since the competition was established in 2004.

Will Fazakerley gave Priaulx champions Rovers the lead in the first half of an entertaining final, before Seb Skillen levelled for the holders with a fine free-kick.

Rec missed a host of chances after the break, before Le Tissier eventually turned home the winner in the last ten minutes.
