New surfboard for islanders in wheelchairs

Islanders who use wheelchairs can now go surfing, thanks to a Jersey charity.

Healing Waves help individuals with physical and neurological conditions take part in water sports.

They've brought the first wheelchair adaptive surfboard of its kind to the Channel Islands this weekend.

The charity say their aim is to make Jersey an inclusive place to islanders and tourists living with conditions and disabilities.
