Jersey looking beyond survival at World Cricket League 4
Jersey Cricket coach Neil MacRae says his side are looking beyond simply avoiding relegation at World Cricket League Division 4 in Malaysia.
They have been demoted on each of the three occasions they have played at that level, in 2008, 2014, and 2016.
But MacRae thinks their three wins in their last Division 4 outing in Los Angeles two years ago, and the absence of an obvious favourite this time around, means they can aim higher.
Jersey begin the tournament against Vanuatu on Sunday, who they beat in the final of Division 5 last year, before facing Denmark, Bermuda, Malaysia, and Uganda.
