Jersey's Jonty Jenner and Jake Dunford have become the first island players to gain places with the MCC Young Cricketers.

They will be based at Lord's this summer and have access to expert coaching while playing for the club in Second Eleven cricket.

The programme prides itself on developing first-class players, with England international Dawid Malan among the former Young Cricketers who have gone on to bigger things.

Jenner and Dunford will both still be available for Jersey's ICC fixtures, including World Cricket League Division 4 which starts later this month in Malaysia.
