‘The Durrells’ returns this weekend for third series
ITV drama ‘The Durrells’ will return to the screens this weekend for a third series.
The Bafta-nominated programme is based on Gerald Durrell’s childhood, as portrayed in his 3 autobiographies, and will be returning on Sunday.
‘The Durrells’ made its debut back in 2016, showing 1930s lifestyle on the Greek Island of Corfu, where young Gerry finds his love for animals, whilst also withstanding family troubles.
Gerald would then open ‘Durrell’ Jersey Zoo, later on in his life, expressing his affection for wildlife.
The next series holds more monkeying around, more adventures, and more complicated love.
Starring Keeley Hawes, Josh O'Connor, Callum Woodhouse, Daisy Waterstone and Milo Parker, the first episode of this series will air on Sunday at 8pm on ITV.
