Rally: Jersey's Fossey ready for first Asphalt outing

Jersey rally driver Ed Fossey will make his MSA Asphalt Championship debut in Wales this weekend.

The 19-year-old, who won the BTRDA 1400 title last year, is switching from gravel to tarmac as he looks to continue his development.

He will be behind the wheel of his new left-hand drive Peugeot 208 R2, which is considerably more powerful than the Toyota Yaris he has raced in previously.

Fossey is teaming up once again with regular co-driver Chris Sharpe-Simkiss for the six-round series.
