The States of Jersey Police says it wants to increase the number of women officers and non-policing staff it employs.

Currently, only a third of their 300 employees are women.

To mark International Women's Day, girls from across the island's secondary schools got to meet some key female staff members at the Police HQ, to learn more about what they do.

Vicky Coupland leads 14 staff in the CSI and High Tech Crime Unit, where she is the only woman.

She was one of a panel of female officers and staff answering questions today to try to increase the number of women in the police force.
