Guernsey is once again a Fairtrade island after going from "strength to strength" promoting ethically sourced products in the community.

In a written letter confirming the re-accreditation, the Fairtrade Foundation says the island impressed by highlighting the importance of supporting farmers in developing countries and encouraging businesses to buy Fairtrade products.

A new website has also been launched to inform and inspire islanders about the fairtrade message.
