Four people were taken to hospital after a crash near Jersey Zoo, where one car ended up on top of the other.
One was trapped inside the car underneath and needing rescuing, through the boot, by fire fighters.
The incident happened on La Profonde Rue on Sunday afternoon and 10 fire fighters attended the scene.
The States of Jersey Police closed the road for hours and are investigating what happened.
