Islanders in Guernsey are being urged not to disturb wildlife environments.

It comes after drone footage was shared on social media last week showing seals on the shore off Herm in their natural habitat.

Although the pilot said he had no idea his filming was disturbing the animals, Guernsey's Biodiversity Education Officer Julia Henney says getting this close could put baby seals in danger.

Julia and drone user Eliott Cockett are hoping to develop a guide for those filming in the future to make sure people are aware of the dangers to wildlife.
