'Guernsey' film to be premiered at local screenings

The film adaptation of a book based in Guernsey will be shown at two special premier screenings in the island.

'Guernsey', from the The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society book, will be released in cinemas on April 20.

But on April 12, the Beau Sejour will be rolling out the red carpet for a black-tie reception and screening of the film, followed by a more informal event the following day.

The events are being organised by the Arts Foundation Guernsey on behalf of the Committee for Education, Sport & Culture.
