Tourist killed in Thailand
A woman is thought to have died after falling from a balcony while on holiday in Thailand.
Louise Furey was born in Ireland but lived in Guernsey and worked at The Croft - a respite centre for children with learning difficulties - in the Bailiwick.
Ms Furey was on holiday in Koh Samui with her boyfriend.
Local police are now investigating the 27-year-old's death and Ireland's Department for Foreign Affairs are providing assistance to the family.
Ms Furey's colleagues have said she was a wonderful woman with a promising career.
The village where Ms Furey was born in County Donegal have extended their sympathies to her friends and family.
