Islanders in Guernsey urged to look out for wildlife after stormy weather conditions
Guernsey's animal shelter is urging people to look out for the island's wildlife following the stormy weather conditions.
They say they have already had one injured sea bird brought in - and they expect many more casualties in the coming days.
In the bad weather seal pups can become separated from their mothers, and birds can get caught up in old oil spills that are churned up by the swell, leaving them unable to fly.
