Delays in murder trial show 'lack of respect' says Vic Groves
The father of murdered Guernsey woman Sarah Groves has called today's court proceedings in India for her murder trial 'unforgivable and disgraceful'.
Vic Groves said today's delays, once again, are an 'appalling reflection on the Indian system of justice' and show 'a complete lack of respect for a murder trial.'
It was the 109th hearing in the trial of Dutchman Richard de Wit, the man accused of her murder.
The investigating officer, Inspector Kuldeep Koul, was cross examined and the subject of crime scene photography and videography was discussed.
Court proceedings did not begin until 3pm and the cross examination was not finished. Inspector Koul has been summoned to appear again on the 5th February.
Richard de Wit denies murder.
