Guernsey appoints a new Data Protection Commissioner

Guernsey has appointed its new Data Protection Commissioner.

Emma Martins will take up the Guernsey-specific role after leaving her post as pan-island Data Protection Commissioner in October.

Mrs Martins steps into the role ahead of the introduction of new law on Data Protection in May 2018. Currently there are some differences between Jersey and Guernsey's draft legislation.
