More than 50 live firearms handed in during weapons amnesty
In just two weeks 371 weapons have been handed in to Guernsey Police as part of a weapon surrender.
Fifty five live firearms, 3000 rounds of assorted ammunition and 202 bladed articles are among the weapons handed in to Guernsey Police by residents in Guernsey, Alderney and Sark.
Weapons surrended between 13 November and 26 November:
27 shotguns
13 pistols
7 revolvers
8 rifles
20 BB guns
25 air weapons
5 starter pistols
7 replica weapons
189 knives
13 swords
1 spear gun
1 bow
A bullet press for manufacturing homemade ammunition was also handed in.
