Controversial plans to build 26 homes in Guernsey have been given the green light
Controversial plans to build 26 homes in St Martin have been approved by Guernsey's Planning Appeal board.
A decision on the larger scheme at the site, proposed by Island Development Limited has been deferred.
It comes after politicians rejected the scheme for 26 properties at an Open Planning Meeting and has left some local politicians frustrated.

There have been three previous applications to build from the company and each one has been refused over a period exceeding 10 years.
Issues concerning traffic, access to the site and whether it contributes to the islands social housing policy have previously been raised.
